Mandeep singh

I completed my Graduation in BSc. Agriculture at Sri Guru Teg Bhadhur khalsa college, Sri Anandpur Sahib Punjab. Then I completed My Post graduation in MSc. Agriculture (Soil science & Agriculture

chemistry) at Mata Gujri college, Sri Fatehgarh Sahib. I joined IIT Ropar in 2020 as a Project staff in Civil Engineering Department, in Environmental Engineering Lab for two years. Now I am working in NHAI Sponsored project in Geomatics & Geotechnical Lab.

My area of interest includes:

1. Research work during Masters programme :- Assessment of fertility status of soil in Ropar district (Punjab).

2. Technically support as Project staff under Indo-UK Project entitled “Impact of rain water harvesting in

India on ground water quality”.

3. Field work for Rain water harvesting project (soil sample collection from Rajasthan). Checked the physio –chemical properties of soil.

4. Working on Lysimeter & IC (ion chromatography) to study the properties of soil.

5. Lab work in Geotechnical lab for study the index and engineering properties of soil for NHAI sponsored

project.

5.Data Collection from farmers for MIT project (Sustainable Agricultural Planning for Small Farm Holders in Bist Doab Region of Punjab).
